These projects will provide urgent support, social protection and rapid socio-economic recovery for the most vulnerable groups, especially children and women. They are part of a program that targets a population of 200,000 citizens. It consists of an emergency support scheme to address the basic needs of 8,000 families living in poverty, including those belonging to minority groups or not officially registered. The aim is to improve the sustainability of social policies that address inequalities and enable and nurture social cohesion in the medium and long term.
These projects will be implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), as well as Save the Children and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
