Video exhibition ‘Living with the memories of the missing’
April 27th – National Day of Missing Persons
By capturing and documenting the memories of family members of missing persons from the latest conflict in Kosovo this project aimed to contribute to the process of dealing with the past, strengthening individual and collective memories through the recognition of the universal nature of human suffering and solidarity.
By developing four separate artistic concepts for four cases of families and members of missing persons, the project ensured authentic testimonies and life histories, and delivered tailored messages, that we wish to preserve individual human experiences so as to help directly to the status of missing persons in Kosovo, interethnic peace, victim’s empowerment, and participation, contribute to cherishing human solidarity and aid the building of trust.
