UNMIK support enabled NGO Synergy to implement 8 educational trainings for more than 80 young people from mostly rural areas in North Kosovo. As part of this initiative, UNMIK also provided support to the Peer Educators Network (PEN) to conduct 7 one-day trainings for youth trainers who then established informal “Peer Clubs” in their high schools; 150 high school students, 72 young boys and 78 young girls, from municipalities of Podujevë/Podujevo, Obiliq/Obilić, Mitrovicë/Mitrovica, Fushë Kosovë/ Kosovo Polje, Shtime/Štimlje, Ferizaj/Uroševac and Gjakovë/Djakovica participated in the training sessions. PEN also organized three flashmob campaigns about prevention of bullying in schools.
