IV UNITED NATIONS YOUTH ASSEMBLY IN KOSOVO: YOUTH, PEACE AND SECURITY IN THE DIGITAL ERA

After the two long COVID years, we are glad to be back with the 4th United Nations Youth Assembly in Kosovo which will be organized on 31 May – 01 June 2022 in Pristina under the title “Youth, Peace and Security in the Digital Era”.

The event will bring together a multi-ethnic cohort of 150 young leaders and decision-makers. In addition to the Kosovo-based participants, for the first time, our Youth Assembly will be open for the regional participation with 25 young people coming from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia!

PARTICIPANTS PROFILE

• 15 – 29 years old students, youth activists, youth workers and young leaders interested to take part in the event and to engage in the follow-up networking activities with the UN experts and a multi-ethnic team of young leaders

• Native speakers of at least one of the Balkan languages. Working knowledge of the English language is a bonus but not a selection criterion.

• We will do our best to build a diverse team of young leaders, ranging from experienced youth activists (at least 65%) to the motivated beginners. Experience in volunteering and youth work are a bonus, but not a selection criterion.
